HD video authoring to BD and DVD
When i have a HDV video and want to authorize to BD and even to DVD
(chapters, menus, etc) is there any program that can easily do this? I mean when i make the BD version, it can also render with few mouse click to the DVD VOB structure with standard resolution of course. Maybe Architect? I just start to author BD, so i dont have much experience. thx! |

Adobe Encore supports this. In the build settings, just specify Blu-ray or DVD. It will transcode to the appropriate size upon building the disc.

Learn to use Encore (recommend CS4, more stable). Author once and you will be able to export to BD, DVD and Flash for web.

The most popular solution is Encore, but I am a fan of Sony DVD Architect. Much more stable, user-friendly and at least equally powerful. But if you don't care about complicated projects, you can use a simpler (and cheaper) solution like Nero Vision, which does (with the proper plugin), BD as well as the DVD authoring. Maybe you should download the program demos and try everything out.
