abel cine c300 event in nyc was great!
i don't know where others buy their gear but i buy from abel cine/nyc. the first camera i ever bought was from b&h because they had the lowest price. but over the years, and three cameras later, i buy from abel cine/nyc because of what they offer nyc film-makers: service, experience AND price. tonight abel cine/nyc hosted a gathering where the c300 was explained, displayed and played with. larry thorpe from canon did a great job explaining the technology. the abel crew consisted of moe shore, mitch gross and andy shipsides-each really put together an interesting and informative presentation. sure, it was a dog and pony show showcasing the c300 because abel cine/nyc wants to sell c300s. but it is the way abel cine/nyc does what they do that so often leaves me impressed. thank you larry thorpe. thank you moe, mitch and andy. thank you pete abel for knowing how to run a camera shop. be well. rob smalltalk productions |
