C100 grip push button no longer working
 

Has anyone experienced problems with the push button on the grip not working? I've tried un plugging the grip cable several times, removing the battery and resetting the camera with a paper clip. I upgraded the firmware a few weeks ago, but hadn't used the camera much since then. I'm may try to go back to the previous software. to see if that helps. Any suggestions beside sending it in the Canon?
