Finally sold out of body only kits. Thanks to all the awesome DVInfo members who contacted me about this camera. I'm hoping to have more body only kits in stock soon. I'll keep this updated.

They are not hot, canon just delivers in too small qty's to make it look like they can't keep up with demand :) The JVC looks like a very interesting camera, have seen it being offered with a free samyang lens.

Actually they are hot, not because of the low availability but because the owner reports and reviews are really very good.

It may seem as though Noa is being facetious, but he's not, actually. Canon Inc. does indeed purposefully limit their product supply as a way of keeping both demand and pricing as high as possible. This practice frustrates not only prospective customers but all the authorized dealers as well. It's not a Canon USA issue -- it's a Canon Inc. issue, and it is what it is. It's no secret. They've always operated that way.

Eric is doing everyone a favor by posting and updating his inventory status. He and other authorized Cinema EOS dealers would *love* to sell more cameras, but unfortunately they're limited to the number they're given to sell. When his inventory is replenished, I'm sure he'll let us know. Take advantage of that when it happens.
