We finally have all the details on the new C500 package that will include the Convergent Design Odyssey 7Q. In addition to the 7Q it will also include the Odyssey's Canon C500 RAW firmware installed, 2x 256GB SSD cards, the USB SSD reader, and the BP-900 series battery plate for the 7Q. The total list price of all these items would be over $4000 of Convergent Design gear. The C500 is selling for $15999 body only or $17999 in this package. Since you need a 4K recorder with the C500 anyway, this kit becomes a no brainer. The monthly payments with the Canon 36 month financing comes to $515/month.
