SD Card Hot-Swapping - C100 mkII
Hi All,
Just picked up the C100mkII as an upgrade to the 5dIII I've been using for years. So far I'm having a lot of fun with it. Had a question regarding removing SD cards from the camera while the camera is on and then while the camera is recording. I've filmed numerous events with the XF205s and XF305s and so am familiar with being able to "hot swap" cards while in continuous mode and while recording on the other card. Is this possible with the C100 mkII? Is it possible to even remove cards while the camera is on without risking data loss or harm to the card/camera? Thanks in advance for your responses! Glade |

Re: SD Card Hot-Swapping - C100 mkII
Please read Manual Page 41. It is not like Canon XF100 or 300. No hotswap. If you have two 64gb card AB you get 10-11hrs relay record.

Thank you! My eyes must have glanced over that part in the manual. Very much appreciate your help.

I dual record to two 64GB cards as redundancy, you get about 6 hours which I rarely go over. As soon as you open the card slot both cards will power down.

Yeah - seems to be same as Mk I in this regard - the manual text is the same.
