Here are Canon's new promotions for 2016 on the C100 and C100mkII. These instant rebates are valid from January 1st 2016 through March 31st 2016. Canon has also extended their 0% 24 month and 1.99% 35 month financing options for Canon Cinema EOS products through Canon Financial Services.

Probably a C100 MKIII with 4K in the pipe. I wouldn't be surprised to see the C300 MKII down to $12,999 soon or even less.

While i don't know whether or not a new "C100mkIII" is coming at NAB the fact that the rebates expire then is only due to the fact that its the end of Canon's fiscal quarter. These rebates are always done in quarterly chunks. A lot of times they're renewed for the next quarter. But there's always a quarterly expiration given.
