I had the same question. If they put the duel pixel onto the C500, why would most of the people who upgraded to the C300 Mark II have done so?

I was looking to upgrade to the C300 Mark II myself but opted first, to give consideration to both the Canon 1Dc and the C500. The lack of technology is probably a deal breaker for me.
