Sound Sync

I recorded sound with the Zoom H2 (at 44 I believe)
I cannot sync it with the 5D's footage...

In Final Cut, the sound is lined up at the beginning of the clip, drifts by the end.

I have converted the footage to ProRes 29.97 and understand that the sound might might be off, but it appears to be as well for the raw footage coming out of the 5D

any suggestions are greatly appreciated...as a deadline is approaching
Thanks,
J

did you slow down your sound to 99.9 in the timeline?

In Final Cut Cut?
How would I slow down the Sound without slowing the Timeline itself? If I reduce the Speed it's just not the clip that's effected..
Thanks,
J

There's a bit in this clip on how to do it.

Advanced Sound for DSLR's on Vimeo

Essentially, sync your audio clip at the start, then select it and hit 'Apple J' (Command J) type in 99.9 and hit return.

Haven't tried it yet, but apparently that's how it's done.

and I command+J the sound to 100.05%
