Magic lantern users take care

Magic Lantern users. If you are dependent on Magic Lantern, care should be taken before moving to this upgrade. The fixes provided by this update are minimal, and current Magic Lantern Version will likely not work at the moment on this version. Worse, you may not be able go back to 1.10...

To those that do the switch over, I would like to know if you are able to revert back to 1.10.

MJMP reported on another forum that it is possible to downgrade and that the 1.2.4 firmware has not enabled any of the signature schemes.

Thanks Trammel.. So that means we should be able to at least check out the upgrade then.

Yup, I'm MJMP on the other forum and you indeed can revert back to v1.1.0 after checking out the v1.2.4 firmware. It worked without any problems for me last night.

Hi Michael,

can you elaborate on how one can revert back to v 1.1.0.

Or better, does anyone know of a repository for older firmware versions. I am using a recently updated 5D and would like to run ML on it.

Thanks for any suggestions.
