Miami store info needed at DVinfo.net

I live in the U.K., where the 7D is far more expensive than in the U.S. My old man is going over to Miami and Key West at the end of next week so am hoping for him to pick me up a camera over there.

Does anyone know of any good camera stores in the Miami or Key West area where I could reserve a 7D for him to collect? I know availability is obviously an issue, but any suggestions would be helpful.

My shopping list for now is:
Canon 7D body
Canon 18-200mm zoom
Zacuto Z-Finder v2

I live in Miami and tried this last two weeks but no 7D.
As far as I know there are two 'pro' stores here - Worldwide Photo and Pitman Photo in Miami. Only Pitman said they are gettig stock, within the next two weeks (which was last week). They are at 13911 S Dixie Hwy, Miami, FL 33176-7234 (305) 256-9558. You would need to call and reserve one.

Your best chance is B&H in New York and have the camera shipped to Miami - this is always my method and it just worked for me. They are taking orders (website shows not in stock) and seem to be delivering almost every few days on the 7D. I just spke to them 2 days ago.

I know this isn't really a camera question but......

I went to buy my 7D today and have it posted to Miami for my dad to collect.

If I buy it from B&H I don't get charged sales tax, but if I buy it from Best Buy, I do get charged sales tax.
Annoying as B&H are now out of stock, and Best Buy are the only people I can find who have it.

I live in the U.K. and don't get this sales tax thing, how does it work and why do some companies charge it and others don't?

Anybody know who else may have it in stock?
