limiting auto iso

I thought I read somewhere that you could limit the auto iso when shooting under auto exposure. I can't find it in the manual. When I switch to auto exposure, I don't want the camera to use ISO3200, I want 1600 to be the max the camera will use on its own. Is this possible?

Thanks,

Hi Ed,

Menu > Camera 3 > ISO Auto > Max.:1600

(bottom of page 63 in the manual)

Hope this helps,

thanks, that one I did find- however it doesn's seem to apply to video shooting. This procedure works for stills, but is it possible to limit the auto iso during video shooting?

Doesn't seem to work for video - disappointing.

For video, I check shot with auto iso then switch to manual, as with aperture and shutter. With auto iso any change in light is seen.

Good to know that this procedure works only for stills and not video -- thanks for pointing that out!
