Built-in Flash Problem
 
I shot a photo using the built-in flash and find that it is noisy and dark. The image is in the following link. The exif details are as follows.

Would anybody give me some advice as I doubt if my built-in flash of EOS 550D has some problems.

Try increasing this in the camera's menu for better flash exposure.

Andy,

Looks like you may have "over adjusted" the camera. Reset to factory specs and start from there. The camera right out of the box on auto will take a better picture than that.

I just used the program mode and P-Snapshot picture style provided by Canon for this photo but don't understand why the result is poor.
