Supporting your T2i

Would any of you mind speaking to your rig setup with the T2i?

My Intended Uses
- dual sound w/ Zoom H4n (and wireless mic)
- tripod use
- run n' gun handheld

As a previous XH-A1 owner with 35mm adapter, I have a Cinevate and Zacuto rod system, but of course the rods are very long - longer than I'd like to use w/ the portability the DSLR provides. I am debating between the new DSLR-specific setups Zacuto DSLR Products and Cinevate Inc). Specifically, I'm thinking about one that goes from shoulder to tripod yet not too cumbersome (like life was like w/ the 35mm adapters).

Also, any thoughts on the new lineup Zacuto has shipping soon? I've been very impressed with both company's products, but it's tough making a decision without having the rigs right in front of me to test - especially given some of the price points here. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I use the Varizoom DV Media Rig --
You may need a small plate between the DV Media Rig plate and the cam so your lens doesn't get pressed against DV Media Rig, but this has been great for a DSLR with a Z-Finder for me. Any non-tripod setup can result is reeeally shaky footage with these cams, especially on prime lenses, so beware.
