Field of view with various lenses

Thought other 7D/T2i users might be interested in this test I did. One discovery I made, my zoom's 50mm has a big difference to my adapted prime's 50mm. I'm hoping I can inspire someone with a Canon EF 50 to try a similar test with a comparative zoom.

Primitive But Effective: Behaviors of SLR Lenses on Canon APS-C

Another test that might be good to know for video users is transmission loss of various lenses. 50mm prime loses less light than a 50mm zoom. But does how much transmission loss difference is there between 50mm 1.8, 1.4, and 1.2?
