Canon 7d vignette
Hey,
I looked at a lot of footage form the 7D, and it seems there is a lot of vignette on most, if not all of it. Also a lot of black shades that shouldn't be there. Any insight to this? Thanks |
Some of it might be intentional. And some might be with the kit EF-S lens.
With full frame lenses, there is virtually no falloff on the 7D. |
I guess a lot of people have computers infected with the Magic Bullet virus.

You mean Magic Bullet.

I get slight vignetting on my 7D on the wide end of the 17-55mm EFS that I use. It's reeeeally slight though. And a bit more vignetting when I attach the Fader ND.
|
I would say almost all vignette is added in post to taste. Especially a lot of samples lately.

Obviously I am being facetious but it is sort of weird that people worry about having L-series lenses and super flat color profiles just to desaturate and vignette everything later. |

Ya, and why would people purposely shoot at 24 frames/sec when it could look so much more 'real' if they would shoot at 60 :) |
I guess it just reminds people of when they were young and the world moved slower and flickerier ;)
