Shooting near the beech.

Hello.

Tomorrow i will be shooting a small event near the beech. Its a marathon .

Its for myself, ust to practice shooting with camera and latter on editing.
But 1 hold back is that the only SDHC i have now is a 8gb Sandisk extreme2 class 10.
It's a good card, but the capacity of 8gb doesn't really leave room for lot of experimenting.
My only lens on the momment are 18-55mm kit lens wich il be using.

Like i sad the event will happen near the see. In morning - it could be rainy.
So the advice i'm seeking is about what should i watch out from doing with this lens or in general.

Im planing to shoot everything in shutter 1/60, iso as low as i can go: 100-400. Using a "Daylight" WB or "Cloudy" if it will be rainy, and "Natural" picture style.

As for Iris il use 3.5 mostly, but im a bit confused about the "Everything in focus" irs.

I read ppl are using Iris 16 or 8 to get good all in focus shots.

Let me know if there are some major things to watch out from . Does and donts.

Everything will be shot Hand held since i dont have a tripod jet.

Thank you.

Gustavs.
