Hey, thanks James for the link - Phil gives it an overall score of 8 out of 10, so that's very encouraging.

I've got one. For the price, it's a good system. Not a fan of the gears they provide, though. I'm planning to pick up some snap gears from Indisystem (if they ever respond to my emails!). Like every budget piece of gear, if you take good care of it, it should last a good amount of time. For what it costs, it's a damn fine holdover until you have the money and the need to drop some serious cash on a better follow focus.

Thanks Dave - my Mom will only give $200 for a follow focus....

Hey John. This is the follow focus unit for you, then. Good luck (and definitely look into alternative gears for your lenses - the DFocus ones are really not too great).

i have the indisystem one for my XH A1/Letus rig, will pick up a second for the two T2i's soon. had a DFocus and sold it. the indisystem one is pretty decent for the money. the DFocus has exposed gears, and didnt seem like it was going to last. i never used it.

I take back what I said. I opened the gear box and tightened a few screws...works like a charm. What did you end up going with? How did it work out for you?
