Magic Drainpipe 80-200 anybody using one?
 
Just thinking about buying one of these and my question is if anyone is using on of this lens and how are the results?

I just recently sold one on eBay. It is an absolutely fantastic lens that is so very sharp even wide open. It's also more discreet as it is black rather than the eye-catching light-grey of modern big lenses from Canon. However I found that I used it very rarely mostly because what we regularly film rarely requires a telephoto. The fact that it lacked IS would be a drawback for video work. It really is a lovely lens for photos though.

Thanks Nigel. I think im gonna go with it. It soun's like an amazing lens for the money. im gonna be using it on the tripod the whole time so the lack of the IS sould be ok. Thanks for the feedback
