Any Issues With Combining 5D files with T1i files?

Has anyone combined files from a 5D and a T1i for a movie project? If so, how did it look? What type of issues were there?

Thanx, KO.

Not issues to report, I own both. In lower light, the T2i will not hold up as well keep it below ISO 800 for best noise results, other wise be prepared to use a noise reduction filter in your NLE.

Nice thing about the T2i is it will do 60p for slow motion work, though it is 1280 x 720.

You can use the same camera setting and get reasonably similar images. ISO on the T2i does not have all the steps, especially the clean natural ones that the 5D has, but you can install the latest version of Magic Lantern if you are into that kind of thing, and get a full featured camera to boot.

Great, so editing between files from a 5D and the T2i in the same project are seamless?

What difference do you notice?

Thanx, KO.

Kevin asked about T1i and 5D MkII, not T2i.

The T1i shoots 1920x1080 at 20 fps and 1280x720 at 30 fps. I don't know what the real frame rate for the 5D MkII is but the T2i shoots 1920x1080 at 29.97 and 1280x720 at 59.97 (NTSC).

Some NLE's can handle the disparities in real frame rates, some may not.
