60d lens
Hi all
just a few questions, i was wondering what the most suitable all round lens would be suitable for documentary making, mainly interviews and cut away shots? regards |
Re: 60d lens
Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM

Re: 60d lens
Tamron 17-50 2.8mm vc also good

Re: 60d lens
You could also pick up a few vintage manual prime lenses.
They are a lot cheaper and they get the job done nicely. I have a Helios 58mm f2, nikkor 24 f2, zenitar 16mm f2.8 fisheye and I'm pretty happy with them. I will also buy an "all perpose" lens: the Tamron 18-270mm that I can use in desent lighted places. Regards. |
Re: 60d lens
Sigma 24-70mm 2.8

Re: 60d lens
I'm really pleased with it. It's a great walk around lens for pictures on both the 5D and the 60D. I have several Canon primes, but I get sick of changing lenses, so this lens has been my favorite.

Re: 60d lens
I've been very happy with the sigma 17-70 2.8-4. For me the added range is more important than the constant f stop.
