24p and glidecam or any cam stab

I love the look 24p gives me, except when I'm on the glidecam. Do any of you guys make the exception to switching over to a different frame rate while your flying? Like 30p ?
I know that normally you wouldn't mix frame rates... Looking for a little advice as I'm new to using a camera stabilizer.

If you are an expert at glidecam then use 24P, intermediate then use 30P, beginner then use 60P. (-:

Re: 24p and glidecam or any cam stab

Thanks for the advice... I feel that my movements have gotten much better. Now I'm just fishing for some decent camera settings. I've tried 24p with a higher shutter speed and I wasn't a fan with how it looked (jittery, even for 24p).
60p looked good but then again when I import for editing I'll most likely want to conform it to 24p.

I searched the forums earlier this week for a lens recommendation, and didn't come up with anything solid. Right now I'm using a bower 14mm. The infinite focus is set to after 10ft. I would like to find something that infinite after 3 ft or so. Does anyone have any suggestions.

My Tokina 11-16mm F2.8 when shooting at 11mm at F2.8 on my crop 60D will give you from about 3 and half feet to infinity, you can get down to 3 feet if you stop down a bit.
