XLR Adapter Advice for T3i

Hello everyone. Been doing careful research for an XLR adapter to plug into the T3i. Here are the two that I'm zeroing in on, both from B&H:

Opinions and comments welcome, thanks as always.

No phantom power on the DX-5DA. To me an XLR adapter without phantom power really isn't worth it. Shotgun mic selection is extremely limited without it. Although it is the ideal size. To me the DXA-SLR is just too bulky.
