Spots on LCD
 

Notice small yellow spots on the LCD when filming a wedding yesterday. The footage is ok so, I believe its in the lcd. Anybody else had this Issue?

They are most likely stuck pixels - if your camera is under warranty you might want to send it in for repair. It's a common problem with LCD displays, even high end ones.

I spoke with canon and I will be sending it in next week

Using optical wievfinders on LCD can damage your equipment on a sunny day withing few seconds.
The loup inside is focusing directly to the polarising foil in the LCD. A few rays of the sun into the wf causes irreversible burnout of this foil and you have permanent yellow spots on it.

I did it to my T2i, by accidentally pointing the eyepiece of my view finder toward the sun. Yellow streak is toward a corner. I am sure I could pay a price to have it replaced, but it does'nt affect my ability to shoot, so I just live with it.

Canon said it was from a 3rd party divice and wanted almost 400.00 to repair. The zfinder was the cause. after some begging and pleading Canon waved the labor and it only costed me $127.00. Thanks Canon!

It's a very common problem Darrell. Canon XF 300s have been experiencing it a lot, many were sent back and had the viewfinder changed out. Ivan is correct. You have to be very careful shooting in full sun, and especially the Zfinder from Zacudo actually has a warning label on it for a reason. Send it in, and be careful in the sun pointing the viewfinder at the sun. It's something I never experienced in "the old days" before electronic viewfinders, but it has been happening even with Sony broadcast cameras in the 90s.
