Shoulder strap with clip on

Hi all,

I've been to a few stores and none of them have what I am looking for. 95% of my use with the 60D is for video. The shoulder strap that came with it gets in the way so I took it off. The photographer in me has started to awaken by now and from time to time i'd just love to grab the camera and walk around my neighborhood just to get a few nice shots

Putting the shoulder strap back on again is such a drag that it almost refrain me from doing it. So I am looking for a shoulder strap that uses some type of clip-on, you know, something that is as easy to remove as 1-2-3.

Know of a model that would interest me?

Thanks

Try this
It works for me with my Canon strap

Thanks Charles.

Yes I know about those, unfortunately it is not what I am looking for. When you take the strap off you are still left with two hanging clip-on that might get in the way. I am really looking for the whole deal, ie: the whole strap can be taken on/off with the clip-ons.

Looking at Tamrac's website I am not sure if they make exactly what i am proposing.

A neck strap is a real bother when working on a tripod, and a menace when working with any sort of motorized head.

So, I got one of these:
OP/TECH USA Pro Strap 3/8" (Black) 1501012 B&H Photo Video

and one of these:
OP/TECH USA System Connectors-Uni Adapter Loop (Set of 2)

Solves the problem fairly well. Although what's left on the camera is a little bigger than I'd like, the connectors are quite robust and click-connect very solidly.

For additional camera bodies, buy these:
OP/TECH USA Uni-Loop System Connectors 1301062 B&H Photo Video

Been pretty happy with this strap system, and certainly recommend it!

On second look, the one Seth recommended is the one I have.
OP/TECH USA Uni-Loop System Connectors 1301062 B&H Photo Video

Yes, that does leave two short straps, but there has never been a time when they're in the way and I use my MKlll mostly for video, too. (Like you, I have developed a fondness for taking stills since I got the MKlll... something I haven't done much of since film.)

I've got two optech straps tucked away somewhere. They were OK, but not a whole lot better than the standard Canon Strap. I now use Black Rapid straps, and wish I'd discovered them years earlier. They are orders of magnitude better than any other strap I have tried. They would also suit your purpose as they attach to the tripod thread in the camera, and take but a moment to take off.

I also use a Black Rapid Dual Harness when working with my 1DsMK3 and 1DMK4. It allows you to just let go of both cameras if you need your hands free, is totally secure (nothing sliding off your shoulder) and is a way more comfortable way to carry two big cameras for hours on end.

+1 to BlackRapid, they're the best.

Definitely the BlackRapid

The Black Rapid does look slick, but I find that I distrust any that fasten to the screw slot at the bottom. To each his own, as they say.

I hope you find the one that works for you.

I love these by peak design https://peakdesignltd.com/store/leash you do have two little bits left on the camera but I dont find they get in the way at all, use them on my C300 and my dslrs IMO they are fantastic.
