60D video issue

Hi all!
I have a Canon 60D and use it for make videos. The problem is when I play the video in a tv monitor if there is some pan movement or somebody move in the video there is flickering issue...this is because it's a progressive video, not interlaced. If I play the video in a computer monitor no problem...
settings are: video full HD 25 fps, Iso 125, shutter 1/50.
I have seen the same problem in many videos in progressive mode, not interlaced.
I have seen same problem on TV news in some shooting here in Italy
Question is: how can I minimize flicker in the video not interlaced?
Maybe shooting at 720p 50 fps? I have try even this, but doesn't change anything...
Thanks for your help

Michael

Is that on a CRT TV?
also, are you playing it straight from the camera? (sounds like it)

When you export for DVD, make sure that you are exporting as progressive not interlaced.

Hi and thanks for your reply.

Yes, the problem is on a CRT tv when I play the file H264 from timeline, and even if I play from a Dvd in progressive mode...

Maybe solution is in shutter speed? My actual setting is 25 fps and shutter 1/50
