T3i workflow
 

I need advice on a good workflow in Final Cut Pro 7. I dont have the magic lantern hack on mine, but maybe I should
My questions are
Importing- what should I convert to before I import? Prores (LT) ?
What the best way for converting? MpegStreamclip?
I would like to "step up" my quality in my videos to web using my T3i. Im getting better results from my gopro ( Hero 1 HD) at this point

I know the Canon Plug in doesnt work on My Mac OS ( Lepord)

I am self teaching and would like to get
Better quality Image up on the Web -(vimeo)


I did some testing last night and my quality wasnt what I liked and my file size was too large.

My workflow now- Import from SD card to timeline with sequence set at Prores 422 LT
Edit, export to compressor
Render out of compressor using H2.64 codec
29.94 Fames Per second
Highest quality

any help, pointers or links to tutorials would be greatly appreciated.
