Fun stuff, Chris. I especially like the final shot.

I take it that the chroma key was no problem. It looks great.

Chris Barcellos March 16th, 2009 01:05 AM

Jon: Our special effect guy said key was easiest he ever had.

Jon Fairhurst March 16th, 2009 12:33 PM

I'm not surprised. There seems to be some noise reduction in the camera that can't be turned off. Not everybody likes the look, but it should really help tame a greenscreen.

Hey Jon, we are doing a little sub-challenge for the 5D shooters at DVChallenge:

Thanks for the invite. Unfortunately, we're behind on our Dirk Snowglobe series. We need to put our energies toward that.

What Chris hasn't told you is that his DP work took first place. Congrats Chris !

Jonathan Bufkin March 22nd, 2009 01:05 AM

Chris,

Nice work for sure! May I ask which Nikon lens adapter do you use?

Chris Barcellos March 22nd, 2009 10:53 AM

Jonathon:

Run of the mill cheap $8.00 Kawa from Ebay. Just figure it is a $16 adapter cause they don't give you a break in shipping of $ 8 for more than one. Bought 5 and leave them permanently attached to my most used lenses. Can switch easy enought to a less used lens.

Thanks for the quick reply Chris!
