motionperfect versus compressor

I'm stuck on a PC and I would like to do all my PP here. For conversion from 5D2 30fps to 24fps, the only solution I see being talked about on forums is the compressor on the Mac.

If motionperfect was anywhere near as good as compressor I would use it. Otherwise I have to find a friend with a Mac every time I need to convert.

Could someone who already has experience compressing 30fps to 24fps on a Mac help me compare the two? I have absolutely no love for the PC so this is not for the sake of claiming any bragging rights. Also I have no affiliation with motionperfect whatsoever.

Just pick something with some decent motion that is converted and I'll do the same conversion with motionperfect, and then we'll compare the two. Preferably the source video would be straight out of the 5D2 with no PP. Something like 10 seconds should be long enough.

I will download the original, use motionperfect, and then we'll figure out how to compare them.

Thanks in advance...

I took a look into Motionperfect presentation. Their claims are high and I tend to believe them. I have no practice at all with it and practice is the only one that could confirm or invalidate the program. I have no love for the Mac nor for the PC. I am an Ubuntu fan :)
