Reading focal lenth and distance from lens

I found the periodic message from the lens to the camera that encode the focal length and focus distance, and have decoded the message to be able to draw an onscreen measurement of these two values to aid the DP. Here's a short demo: Magic Lantern - EF Zoom lens on Vimeo

The soon-to-be-released 0.1.5 Magic Lantern firmware will feature them in the top of the screen, along with HDMI and config file support. The 1 Hz audio ticking bug has also been squished.

Awesome. That's going to be a valuable real-time aid, even better than the zoom number scale used in the XH and XL H series. Outstanding, Tramm!
