An angled back would be good for us working in video, using the LCD but I think still photographers wouldn't be so pleased with the viewfinder being like that.

I would think a flip/swivel LCD would be a better solution.

Ok, this is a low cost option possible accessory, the 5dmk2 has lots of movement on the 2 ribbon cables going to the rear section, a quick aluminum or plastic spacer shell goes in between. It only takes 7 screws & 2 minutes to remove the back, 2 ribbon cables unhook and your free.

You can see through the VF but an angled replacement eye rest could be made. But even if you couldn't I would trade the 'SLR' part for this, not that you would have to.

I'm sure I suffer from 5DMK2 crook back, and even a rudimentary mockup is a pleasure to use.

Heck you could also get better cooling with some vents.
