CPL for shooting thru Car Window?

What is a good CPL? I have the HOYA CPL but it doesnt seem to work well... I need to shoot thru a car windscreen under daylight conditions. The interior is darker than outside. Do I need to light up the interior a lot?

Good CPLs

Being a bit of a filter snob, I would refer you to either B+W, B+W Kasemann, Heliopan, or Singh Ray. However, before you do I would try lighting up the inside of the car.

I tried lighting the interior but Istill can't see thru. Is the 30deg thing a must for all CPL to work? The car has quite a sloppy windscreen. I think I m shooting at 50deg at best

Just managed to do one nite shot with the same setup. Works very well. It can even go with the CPL.

Sean, I have a B+W 72mm CPL. Just let me know if you want to try it out.

Ooh thanks Rich. Would love to have a go. Anyway, here is my test video with the Hoya CPL at nite. Was hard to do it alone.

Tell the truth Sean, you did a night shot in Orchard Road just to avoid the ERP charges, right? :)

What lens were you using for this?

Richard

Ha! Was a 16mm
