I've been trying to checkout info on the site, but both that and the 5DM2 firmware show "coming in March" even though the 5DM2 firmware is out.

It was supposed to be early March, but it's mid-March now. Maybe before the end of March?

Thanks for the replies guys. I've installed the 2.0.3 firmware update in my 5D Mark II and this looks like it will be a great addition to the workflow.

So I'm a little shocked that this isn't all over this board yet but it looks like the plugin is now available.

Wow! I like it so far. We now have the ability to log our footage before import. One thing: in order for the plugin to recognize the footage, the entire DCIM folder has to be there.

The plug-in will only appear once you select the "Mac OS X"

Yes! The plugin works beautifully. This is great. If only there were a way to have MPEG Streamclip handle the transcoding (since it's faster than Compressor).

It's much like using the XDCAM-EX plugin, you need to select the actual card or a directory that contains the entire cards folder structure.

So basically you select a source that contains both the DCIM & MISC Directories. If you haven't saved the whole file structure the plugin won't import the footage.

7D and 5DII yes. T2i no.

I can confirm that the plug in works with 7D and 5DII footage, but not with my T2i footage.

I downloaded and installed the 2.0.4 firmware update but is the plug-in released yet? If so where? Thanks.
