FCP Log & Transfer won't 'see' 5D footage from DVD

Hi there, I've received some footage shot on a Canon 5D mark II. The footage was copied from the original card to DVDs. Is there anyway to get log and transfer to recognize the footage - it seems to ONLY work when the original card is present... and I don't have it.

Any thoughts on how to get around this?

Or do I need to go through compressor?

david.

You need .thm files to go with each clip. If you don't have the original .thm files, you can fake it--see this thread: http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/canon-eo...questions.html

And you need to mimic CF card directory hierarchy.
