Good prices there, Scott. I assume those are all UDMA?

I know several people who use nothing but 200x CF cards to shoot 5D video- no issues at all. Is there any need for something faster....honestly?

Bill Pryor October 3rd, 2010 12:52 PM

Most cards are fast enough for video. You need faster ones for multi-burst still photography. The issues for me are reliability, and of course the card has to be UDMA. I have a 300x Transcend 16 gig card and some Sandisk 8 and 16 gig cards, and all have worked flawlessly. I've heard good things about those Delkin and may try one of those 16 gig ones.

Hey Bill! I hope you have been doing well!
Yes, all of the CF cards I quoted are UDMA compatible.

Doing great. I was all set to get an EX1 from you but then then the DSLR revolution hit and I'm shooting everything with the 5D now.

Scott Cantrell October 5th, 2010 11:41 AM

Alot of my clients have been joining that DSLR revolution! The 5D, 7D, T2i and now the 60D are all pretty remarkable camera's. Have you seen the new information coming out on the soon to be released Pansonic AG- AF100? There is a thread that has started in the Pana AVCCAM forum
