IndiFOCUSmini with Glidetrack Shooter SD

Hello,

I'm looking for an affordable way to use a 5DII with shoulder support and follow focus. After some research, I'm thinking about buying these two:

Follow Fucus IndiFOCUSmini: indiSYSTEM - indiFOCUSmini
Glidetrack Shooter SD: http://www.glidetrack.com/products/g...hooter-sd.html - can also be used as a glidetrack, sounds great. :)

I can't really figure out if I can use them at the same time: mount the IndiFOCUSmini on the Glidetrack Shooter SD...without extra stuff.

Hopefully someone can help me. Thanks in advance!

Although I have a custom indiSystem slider that I'm quite happy with, I would not recommend their follow focus. For instance, if you look at the final gear, you'll see that it's very thin (narrow) -- this I think is a design flaw since it makes it very hard to set up for certain vintage lenses where you need that extra horizontal play that a wider gear would give you. My current follow focus is a Redrock Micro unit that I'm very happy with. Here's a video I shot last summer using both the indiSystem slider and the Redrock follow focus -- just as a silly test/exercise:

Ros,

I am a fan of the IndiSYSTEM stuff, however I think your going to have a tough time getting the follow focus to work with the Glidetrack Shooter SD. The tripod head is too high off the rail to work well. Unless your planning on buying rails to mount to the tripod head.

Peer,

I'd love to see a picture of your rig. I have the indiRAILSpro DSLR sm with the indiFOCUSpro but I find that it often times gets in it's own way with my 5d mkII. Meaning I can't use it with all of my lenses. Love those snap gears tho.
