Mini HDMI to HDMI cable - $5
Daily deal site woot.com has this cable plus a 4GB SD card for $5. The shipping charge is also $5, but you can buy up to three at once - so three of them would be $20, shipped. The ones I've used so far are a little flimsy, so I keep a few on hand. I max'd out at three today.

4.2.2. from the HDMI port on a 5D?
Does the HDMI port on the 5D output uncompressed video? Could I use a Nanoflash or AJA mini to capture 4.2.2. HD data from teh 5D?

No. Once you start recording it drops to 480p.
