My Cheap Viewfinder Hood with Foam and Rubber bands.
 

I picked up a small black foam sheet with the idea of making a nice sun shade for the LCD.

Here is my first "prototype". I just need to get some black rubber bands.

I guess when done, I will have some sort of velcro tab to allow me to break down the hood and put into a camera bag.

The thing is nice and soft and won't scratch the camera or LCD. Works in a pinch!

I just need to figure out how deep the hood will be.

The foam sheets are 99 cents by the way.

Funny though, how prices of the cheap LCD VFs have come down in price.
