I agree with one of the comments saying these things can't be all that good for human optics either.

Same happened to my HV30. It isn't as extreme as lines in the sensor though. (just 3 dead pixels) I'm trying to sell it to a friend since the repair cost is $400 and isn't really worth it. In case I can't sell it to my friend, I'll put it up for sale here.
