New toys

Stumbled across a deal on craigslist for this set that was too good to pass up. Lucky me, the seller didn't want to go through the hassle of selling them off individually. I'm not a fan of the 50mm focal length, but the price was so good I basically bought the 21 and the 100 and got the others free. I may sell the 50 and my three C/Y lenses and the remaining three will *almost* be free ... almost... At least that's what I keep telling myself.

That's what I'd call a case of 'Lucky Bastardness' ... ;-)

Re: New toys

What's up with that?!? A few years ago one of my friends scored a set of Zeiss primes on Craigs list for some ridiculous price! Why can't I run into one of these deals??

Anyway...congrats and happy shooting!

Re: New toys

I usually read about the great deals people score on CL too, just lucked into this one ... searched Zeiss and these popped up, made the guy an offer and he tried to bump me up a couple times, but I offered all the disposable cash I have right now and hoped he'd cave ... he did.

Why eat when you can have a Zeiss 21mm lens?:)

Congrats on finding the deal and the negotiation success!
