full frame lens for 6d

Has anyone used the tamron 90 mm for video with vc, or the 105 sigma. anyone got the canon 135 f2 for video. I have the brilliant tamron 24-70 2.8, the excellent 70-200 sigma 2.8 but need a smaller lens that will give me a little more reach than the 24-70, if not i may get another sigma 70-200, what's the 135 f2 like with no stabilizer? steve

You need a tripod with the 135 or at least a monopod with legs and a fluid head anyway.
the image is beautiful of course and its very discreet for such reach.
Its a low risk purchase because it resells so well.

I use a canon 24-105 also. Its my main workhorse lens as it has IS and is excellent in terms of IQ but I do try to use primes whenever possible to get that look.

Cheers Ger, i think i will wait for the canon 85 mm with is coming out or i may bite the bullet for another sigma 70-200, i cant afford to just use the 135 on a tripod just for ceremony and speeches, its got to be an all rounder.

Ya the 135 would be a bit long for most ceremony shots I feel. I sold mine as I wasnt using it enough to be honest
but at times I do miss it. I have a Canon 70-200 IS II and its very heavy. Interestingly I met a photograper recently who swears by the cheaper and lighter/smaller canon 70-200 f4. It pairs really well with a full frame canon. He sold the bigger 2.8 lens for the convenience of the f4.

I love the samyang 85 and 35. The canon 50 f1.2 is my favourite. With these lenses (35, 50, 85, 24-105 & 70-200) I do feel like I have everything I need (took me years to build it up) .

An 85 prime with IS would be lovely (or any prime with IS for that matter)

I have the 70-200 f./4 IS. it works very well.

I've been using it on my GH4 with the Metabones Speed adapter which makes it a 2.8, with IS, and lowers the crop factor.
