Copy DV to DV

Hi All:

Anyone tell me the easiest way to copy from another DV camcorder to my Cannon GL2? I need DV footage from a tape so it's essentially DV tape to DV tape copying. Thanks in advance

You should be able to connect the two cameras with a 4-pin to 4-pin firewire cable. Put both cameras in VCR mode and play the tape on one camera while recording on the other.
