Pixel shift technology and black level
 

Please let me know what you think.
I was looking my footage on a dlp projector.
The image looked well but specially in the black areas the color was a little bit green.
My camera is an XM1 and the image setting was on the center between red and green.
To better understand i've tried to capture some black images (closing the camera with the cover) with different camera setting and looking the result by using photoshop.
The resul was that in any cases the green level was twice of red.
What do you think about, it's problem of pixel shift technology of it's problem of camera setting?

If your image is predominantly green, sounds like your camera needs to be serviced.

I'm not familiar with this cam, but your problem is not related to the pixel shift technology. If there is no "black balance" setting available (like DVX100 and others have), then you need it to be serviced like Don says.

Could it be also problem of white balancing?
I know that if you make a warm balance using for example a warm card the black goes to a green predominancies.
My second question: in whict way the camera set the white balance?

White balance sets the RGB amplification(contrast) ratio's of the highlights and should not change the black. Black balance (low light adjust) sets the ratio's of the RGB offsets (differential brightness). Today's cams perform white balancing by analysis of the image and correcting in such a way that averaged low saturation parts get equal RGB amps (in auto and manual)
