GL2 playback of HDV captured footage?
 
I think I already know the answer, but can a GL2 playback tape footage captured by an HDV camera?

I don't think any standard def camcorder can play back HDV mini-DV tape. Besides, using a GL2 as a playback deck is kind of a waste. Should invest a HV10 or HV20 for that purpose.

A GL2 can playback SD format tape shot with a HDV camcorder, but not HDV format tape.
