Sony Premium Mini DV Tapes
Can sombody tell me what the differences are between the Sony Premium DVM80PRR and the Sony Premium DVM80PRL ? I cannot find anything that explains the two different model numbers. Thanks for your help!

For the Sony Premium DVM80PRL I found this on the SONY B2B site - it is almost at the end of a very, very long list:
Sony | For Business | Search Result For the Sony Premium DVM80PRR I COULD NOT find anything on an official SONY site, but I found lots of retailers giving explanations. In essence it is the difference between the "L" and the "R" suffix. However I did find this: "Mfgr. Product ID: DVM80PRL (formerly DVM80PR & DVM80PR2)" over on this site: Sony Mini DV Tapes 80 Minute Premium MiniDV Video Tapes Go figure! Grazie |
Thanks for posting! Are you saying that there is no difference? I knew the only difference was the suffix but what is the reason for the different suffix? Is there something different about the two tapes?
Thanks! |
I'm not saying either way. Did you read closely what I researched and found?

Then it could be the L is for left-handed shooters and R for right-handed shooters <G>. |
