Display time code

Is there a way to display time code, or at least a tape counter, on a tape
dubbed from the GL 2 ? I would prefer it to be shown without any other display.

You can obtain time code display on the composite video (analog) output form the A/V terminal. Yo will also see some additional information regarding camcorder status. Se page 150 of the manual.

I have the PDF of the manual. It goes up to page 104. What am I missing?

Scratch that post...

I have the GL-1.

On the GL1 (and GL2 for that matter) you press the "TV Screen" button on the remote to toggle the on screen display in the analog output on/off.

The information is sort of on page 35 and 95 of the GL1 manual.

Neat!

Much obliged, Don. I'm embarrassed not to know my equipment better.
