Question about the Canon WD-58 Lens HOOD
If I was to buy a used WD-58 Wide angle adapter, will the Lens Hood that comes on the WD-58H fit on it? Does it have the proper mounting locations??

Yes if it has the "H" at the end of the model #, it will come with a special lense hood as well.

Yes, but what I am wondering is that if I buy the older lens off ebay that doesn't come with the hood, can I buy the hood seperately and will it fit the older lens?

Yes, Jeff. The hood fits onto older WD-58's. (That's actually what I did, since I bought my 58 before they offered hoods.)

www.evsonline.com sell the lens hood(shade) for the canon wd-58 for 29.99. I just recieved their summer 2004 catalog and they have it for sale in there.
