GL2 Low Light Vignette

I just started shooting high school football at night with my GL2. I have not shot in these conditions and so never noticed before, but there is quite strong vignetting, especially when the frame is filled with a constant color like the grass from the playing field. I am using the stock lens hood with no additional lenses attached. This happens at all focal lengths, so I don't think it is the lens hood. Has anyone else had this problem, and is there a solution for it?

Thank you.

We had a long, long thread on this subject two years ago, August.

Bottom line: it's a normal design phenomenon (edge drop-off) of this lens (and many other lenses, too) under certain situations.

Make a pot of coffee and read-up!

Thanks, Ken, for the quick reply.

Maybe there should be a sticky thread on this issue?
There seems to be a new thread about it every couple of weeks.
