Learning the GL2

Is there a tutorial video out that teaches how to setup and use all the funtions of the GL2? I know this site has tons of info, but I don't know exactly what I'm looking for. I'm new to video cameras and I'm just interested in some step by step hand holding. If there's not one, someone should make one. I would hate to shoot a bunch of video only to find that it would of been better if I had some settings adjusted or should not of had it in frame mode, etc.

I was going to reply that the owner's manual is the closest thing you'll find. Not so. I found this with a google search on "GL2 tutorial."

However, the owner's manual is still a good place to start, and by all means do some experimenting.

I've commented about this "Shoot for the Cut" video before. I purchased it some time back, and was disappointed in it. It's not much better than a careful reading of the manual.

Not surprising. Thanks, Jim. It wasn't high on my list but I might have gone for it.

Best tutorial? use Manual functions and then preview your work using the DATA to output and SEE your numbers on the BIG tv screen! Works for me!

Grazie
