Learning how to use the GL2/XM2?
 

Hi im only 14 and my mum has just got me the xl2. Does any one no where you can get tutorials.

Welcome to the world of a good workhorse of a camera.

I got a lot from the DVD The Ultimate Guide to the Canon GL2 at

There are other DVD's out for this camera as well but this is the only one I have used. It goes over all settings, buttons and such.

Thanks ive only used this camera for a few days. it took me over half an hour how to figer to turn the thing on. i was really impressed. i was a bit disserpointed because i was looking at the XL2 but every where was like 2 weeks waiting time. im doing this trail episode for the BBC and i needed a good camcorder fast. so i looked the XM2/GL2 and i was comparing some images taken the the XL2 and the xm2. i saw that the XM2 got richer images than the XL2. Do you recommend some good but cheap Accessories?
